The Goa State Scheduled Castes and Other Backward Classes Finance and Development Corporation Limited was established on 2^nd April 1990 by the Government of Goa under the Companies Act 1956.   The main objective of the Corporation is to identify the poorer section of the people from Scheduled Castes & Other Backward Classes community in the State of Goa and work for promotion and strengthening by way of generating activities for the Socio Economic development of these classes.  With this objective in mind, the Corporation has introduced many low interest finance scheme for promoting self employment activities. Besides, the Corporation also has a scheme to provide technical training to the youths in concerned trades through various institutions. . .
